how much is he asking for?? 70 psi, taking for granted your referring to compression, is a little low. (someone correct me if im wrong) 100 is about where they should be. as long as it runs good buy it

if its 70psi you will eventually need a new engine in my opinion , places like tigerjapanese sell engines pretty cheap , how much is he asking?

85 Psi is mazda MINIMUM spec at 250rpm. I would suggest treating the sale like it's got a blown engine.

my engine has around 80 psi and runs pretty well. has a little issue with flooding but otherwise it runs pretty well. but yeah a 70psi engine will eventually have to be replaced, but COULD last you for up to a year if not more if you take good care of it and dont drive the **** out of it

btw, i went from a prelude to an 83' rx7, then to an 87' T2, and will never return to honda after seeing how much fun mazda made rx7's

70 psi is terrible. The engine will be very weak. It will need a rebuild immediately.

I'm getting a car thats been garaged and treated like a queen all its like with 60k on it, it looks brand new, only $1500, unless it has something really specially coming with it, i'd never pay 1600.
