6 port turbo?

I have an 88 GTU and i just picked up a manifold and turbo for it and i heard there were some compression issues with the 6 port 13b i also have some turbo rotors but i really dont want to mess with the tearing apart the motor to put them in and i was wondering if i could just get by without.
