You really do want to keep the aux ports working.

For flames - loose cats & the ACV, advance the idle stop dash pot.

If you spend all your time above 4500 RPM or so (road track car), you may see a small benefit from removing them and smoothing out the ports (if you just remove the sleeves, there's a big ugly path for the air to take).

If you plan to drive it on the street, you'll want to keep them. The low end torque is significantly improved with them closed, and the difference at the high end between having them open and not having them is a matter of a few HP, at *best*.

Waste of money. Plus I hope you're premixing, because your S4 OMP won't work with the S5 TB.

.. the air pump is froze up as well, so i removed it. i dont wanna hear everyones opinion, i didnt ask you for them. first on my list is fixing a problem, removing the part is last on my list... anyways, back to his question. like i said, if they work, keep them. as for porting, i didnt think is was worth the time/money, unless u have nothing better to do/ spend your money.

also throwing flames in an fc is expected w/ open exhaust. just depends how big u want 'em

I've heard several people say they've fixed siezed air pumps by dismantling and cleaning them, and I doubt it would be hard to find a replacement.

I don't think you understand how forums work...
