5 Lug Swap problems

Alright, im doing the five lug swap and i did the back already, works good, and when i went to the front, i busted both ball joint boots (great) and i cant figure out what to do with the brake lines... I have both hard lines, but i dont see how they go up to the single piston lines. I see there is a soft line that goes from the hard line (the one that goes all the way to the master cyl), and then it goes to a joint thats clips into the strut, and then a soft line that goes from there to the caliper. I *think* im supposed to take the soft line from the strut to the caliper off.. BUT.. it WONT come off. i had two pairs of vise grips on there after being soaked in penetrating oil.. i dont think it comes apart (after striping the **** out of both sides). Anyone know what to do about brake lines? Thanks

i have the calipers, i have everything i need for the swap (i think) the rotors, hubs, calipers and hard lines, i just cant figure out how to get the hard line to go with the soft line, i may just go to the dealership tomarrow and get two soft lines for a GXL/TII (four piston calipers).

yeah thats what it looks like to me too, but when i asked everyone they just said use the soft line on there (i was assuming takeing the two soft lines apart, and replacing the soft line going to the caliper with the hard line and then mating the hard line and soft line together) but it seems to me like its just one big *** soft line with a link that goes to the strut in the middle. Thanks

the hard line off the 4 piston caliper goes up 2 that u shape thing on the strut and the 4 piston soft lin screws 2 the hard line and the other end of the 4 piston soft line goes to the hard line that pokes through the finder
