VA 5 lug conversion

What parts are needed to convert a 4 lug FC to 5 lug??? I have been told to just swap the rotors, but just doesnt sound right. What about the spindle and bearings?? Are they the same for the 4 and 5 lug?? I am considering this b/c most 4 lug wheels I find are FWD(wrong wheel drive) and they simply suck....Any info would be greatly appreciated!!!

The wheels do not dictate if its FWD or RWD, in my opinion Mitsu Lancer OZ Wheels look spiffy on teh 7.

To swap you need, 5 Lug Front Hubs w/ bearings, 4 pot front brakes, 4 pot front hardline or s/s lines, rear hub w/5 lug, 5 lug rotors. If you go to vented rear rotors you need the turbo rear calipers.

To do it right you technically need the turbo brake master cylinder.

the fronts are simple basiclay repacking the bearings in the new hub and changing the brake lines

I replaced the spindle assemblies on the Front when I did my ConversionS.(more than One,,like three!)..the Spindle assembly is pretty easy to get off.Shock bolts,Tie rod and ball joints..Now,the Four Piston Calipers will attach to the Flexline,IF you spin the caliper onto the Line. You should actually get the flexline and the Small steel line, for the 4 piston caliper Swap though,To be TRUE Swap..(I didn't but I have had mine on for two years with Zero issues..I'll get to it when I get to it!..Haha!)..Cheers again.STYX.
