has something to do w/ the power steering. Theres a silver box under the dash by the steering column, unplug it and it will stop beeping.

5 beeps under dash

I know the 5 beeps coming from the dash has to do with the steering misalign or installed the steering wheel wrong. Ive installed a Momo steering wheel and it was pretty straight foward. Is the 5 beeps from the Momo steering wheel I installed, could cause that beep?

means your powersteering is going haywire...
make sure the steering wheel is connected properly and both your turn indicators cancel

You screw up the steering position sensor. Installing aftermarket steering wheels or removing the stock steering wheel is the #1 cause of this problem.

The momo hub is installed incorrectly or is the wrong hub for the car

The momo hub is the correct one, Ive double checked the hub. How does the steering sensor look like? Where is it located?

The sensor is just under the hub that you added.

It will have two plastic tabs sticking up that match up to the two 1/4" (or so) holes on either side of the hub's center spline.

Look at the back of your old wheel to see the two holes. If the hub is the correct one, it will have two holes in the same exact positions.

Hopefully when you installed your hub you didn't damage the sensor and those two plastic tabs.

I got a Miata hub and the plastic tabs do not align. Is there anything I can do to stop the beeping? Or should I get a new hub?

You need the correct hub or you will have problems like everybody else. As long as your hub is the right one and you put it in correctly it will work fine. That steering pos. sensor can be a bitch but at least it lets you know your wheel is installed wrong .
