Not to mention, I see a nice lil Motec M8 sittin on the passenger side.

That thing's prolly tuned to absolute hell. It's not just a damn nice motor, but it's running one of the best aftermarket engine management systems on the market.. In the right hands...

Heat.

Yeah, I don't believe you'll see a huge amount of heat with the insulation they must have on the housing (dunno if that's the correct word) over the engine. If you look at a boatload of all the older vans you'll see the same thing, there's a big bulge in between passenger and drivers seats that covers the engine, granted an old v8 wont get as hot as a rotary, but the covers are generally only half an inch thick in most places.
