Check out this badass full race 2nd gen that puts the hurt on V8 supercars down under!
Yeah it has a built 488hp 289ftlbs P-port 20b, but they are building up a 13G for more torque...

13G is Mazda Factory Race 3 rotor peripheral port race engine built for competition in LeMans. Though it was not their winning engine (4 rotor RB26 was).
In "stock" form 13G is 450hp. RB modded one to 930hp in '93? for their 3rd gen Bonneville racer.

Webers?
It's fuel injected... those are Motec throttle bodies- three of them! 2 injectors each.
I'm surprised they have standard compression 9.5:1 rotors!
With everything else they did, I'm surprised they didn't bump it up to higher compression... it is an NA.
Maybe it's not allowed by the class rules.

So if a 3 rotor can make 488 HP, why can't a 2 rotor make 325 HP? that is 2/3s 488 It doesn't make since that our cars (n/a) can't make much more than 200 HP, when a 3 rotor can make soo much more.
Use your brain for a second. It's a purpose-build, peripheral port race engine in a race car, not some stock motor with a few bolt-ons. It's quite possible (but not easy or cheap) to build a 325hp NA 13B.

NA Power.
Last time I was down at Mariah they were making 300+ with room for improvement when they swap over to a fuel injected setup from their streetported E production car. It's a gnarly street port, but a streetport nontheless.

Why won't my car make 325 hp? I don't get it?
PP with heavily lightened and modified equipment, and complete EMS to control it... 300+hp definately doable (and has been so many times) at 10,000 rpm
