4 or 6 port, how to tell?

We got a 90 s5 na glx and im curious if its 4 or 6 port.

6 Port. All N/A's were 6 port (i believe). I asked the same question a little while ago about mine (sig) which is pretty much the same.

Are you sure the 5th and 6th ports are opening? Is the airpump removed by chance?

You should be able to hear those ports open up at about 3500-4000 rpms. Sounds sort of like VTEC (I know, I know).

vtec makes a sound? I thought that was just the honda driver acting like he was gaining mad horsepower.

I didn't know the 5th/6th ports make a sound. Of course, i don't think i could hear anything over the exhaust

To the original poster, if you removed your airpump your 5th and 6th ports arent opening up. Just in case you didnt know.

lol, funny cuz my friend brags abou this vtec engine in his slow pos 2000 si coupe, my mercuy tracer can beathim n all i got is an exhaust LOL, ya you could hear him screaming once the vtec kiks in lol but then he loses n is like OH SH**!!!!
