not starting @ 3k rpm
For the past month or so, when starting my car cold, it hasn't been revving up to 3k rpm like it used to. Instead, now it stumbles hard up to like 2k-2400rpm, and then after 10sec it will not stumble anymore. Also, when it is warmed up it will start fine, and rev to 3k rpm and then drop after 2sec. Can anyone point me in the right direction and tell me how to fix this?!
Thanks
Thanks

I think that if you start it in gear, it doesnt do the 3k warm-up thing (precise techincal term.) Im might mean somehting is messed up, but I wouldnt be complaining about it not doing the 3k startup. Its not very good on the engine to do that. The only reason is does it is so that the cats warm up faster so they start working. Its purely to help emmisions.

you have fouled plugs..... probably caused by a internal coolant leak.. i had the same exact problem... first try this... to do a coolant seal leak check...
take off the radiator cap.. also take out the EGI fuse so the car only cranks... have a friend look at the radiator neck and while cranking if the coolant level comes out in a geyser you have a coolant leak... if this does not happen.. then do this.. get some new NGK plugs and check it agian
