3d printed turn signal housing
Hello, I have been looking for new front turn signal housings, and after noticing that they are somewhat hard to find for sale (as it seems many parts for this car are), I wondered if anyone has 3d printed them. A part like this should be really easy to create a replacement for, right? If anyone has let me know so I can use your file

If it's as easy as you think it is, why not give it a crack? Fusion 360, Onshape, etc. are free to use.
There's a thread on 3D printed parts for FCs but thus far I don't think anyone has posted any sort of turn signal related item to it yet https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generati...hings-1157452/
My guess for why nobody has had a crack at it yet is that the shape is a bit annoying to model and it has the locking tracks for the bulb holder to index into. And then you'd need to make sure it doesn't melt under use. Incandescent bulbs get blazing hot and so do LEDs when they're driven hard enough to use for automotive lighting. You'd need a housing material with a temperature resistance high enough to not melt, clean up a bunch of support material, and paint it with a reflective coating.
