Front Turn signal bulbs

Hey guys, how the hell do you change the front turn signal bulbs in the front bumper. I pulled out the signal housing and i cant get the damn thing open. I didnt think it would be this freaking complicated. -alex

You did remove the turn signal and not the FTP lens, right? To change the turn signal bulb, you don't remove the housing, just the lens (2 screws) and the bulb is right there. Push in and twist, and out it comes.

Not on the S5 (at least), the lens is embeded to the housing. I don't know if its glued or what, but it is not as simple as it looks. I will be working on this on Sunday...

lol trust me, i took the SIGNAL housing out. It seems like on top of the housing there is a cap that seems like it would come out, but it doesnt. Ive tryed prieing it out but i just broke the plastic lip that goes around. Changine a lightbulb is supposed to be easy!!!

There's a rubber gasket to seal out moisture.
Pry between them with a flathead screwdriver, and it should come apart.

I have an 89 GTU and have no problem removing the lenses and replacing the blubs, infact I just replaced the amber bulbs with clear blubs and like the look.
