Dirty/foggy turn signal lenses

Hey, anyone know how to clear up my dirty nasty turn signal lenses? The only way I know how to do it is:

Take a heat gun and warm up the goop that is holding them together

Pry the lense off of the housing

Clean off lense as best as possible.

Use silicone to seal it back together.

Its a small pain in the ****. Anyone got any better solutions?
