Turn it to ohms, (looks like a headset almost, the symbol) Set it to like 20 ohms or as low as you can get it, you only want to measure upto 10 or so.

Put in a resistor-pack I got from the junkyard, and the problem didn't change. This is really starting to get to me. I need to dyno in the next couple weeks, and I can't even drive past 3800rpm. Everyone think of everything that can plug in or wire wrong or unclip or change anything having to do with the secondary injectors, so I can go back through and see what is wrong! I seriously am ready to sell it and get a geo...haha...

^joke....id never do that...

I say the easiest thing is to get the stock OEM clips for your fuel injectors.

I would bite the bullet and get new, correct clipped injectors. In know you're running 720 and mazda doesn't sell the oem's that big, but I think you're injector scheme is whats causing the headaches. So get remans from RC and make sure the absolutely send you the right stuff.

It sounds kinda stupid, but introducing solder can actually change the resistence in the connectivity of the plug. Unless you're a professional solder tech, I would think that it could be as stupid as an inexperienced solder job causing the problem.

Hailers can actually create the 3800 crossover at will by messing around with the plug connectivity.

well, I found that what i have is gsl-se injectors, so the clips are correct. I agree that the solder can affect resistance, but in this case, I dont think it would effect it enough to totally cut off the injectors. is there any way to test and see what the injectors are getting?

Well, you can check and confirm that both wires at each plug are recieiving 12v when the car's powered up but not running. Have you checked the injectors themselves?

Are they supposed to get 12v when the cars running below 3800? and no i didnt check the injecors. Should i just do an resistance test on the two prongs?

OK, update.

I went on a multimeter spree, and found some interesting...sucky...results. At the ecu, both the secondary wires are getting ~12V. So OK.

On the connector that connects to the solonoid resister, I am getting little or no reading from every pin except one, the black (and maybe white) wire that is getting 12v. I checked the voltage at the injectors. Both pins at each injector are either recieving 0v or a little bit that is jittery. I think that might just be the multimeter being funny.

So now, I am wondering what it could be? It has to be in the wiring from the resistor, or to the injectors. I don't know why all four are messed up. Maybe the ecu is fried???

SOMEONE RESCUE ME!!
