3500 hesitation
I am considering buying an '88 GXL 2+2. The original owner told me there is a hesitation or hiccup as he said at 3500 rpm's. Is this a serious problem or what? I've read elsewhere there is a fix that usually works.
Is this a problem that should make me wary. The car only has 80k miles on it.
Thanks in advance!

LOCATION OF RX-7
It is in Arlington Va. He says it needs a tune up and possibly shocks. Tape player doesn't work, and sun roof needs a little help to pop up but after that it operates fine. I'm just worried about that hesitation but I'll read the posts you directed me to. BTW, he's asking $3900.00

IF its got high milage i wouldnt pay more than 2500 well maybe 3000 at most. But youll be happy with the car if you get it. Just make sure to get a compression check done. Most of those problems are easy fixes.
