I had nearly the same problem with my car, after my rebuild. If i took the plugs out, and set them on the throttlebody, and cranked it, it would spark once (All of the plugs), and then nothing. and it would do it every time..
my solution sounds stupid, but it takes less than 20 seconds to check, so bear with me
Mine was that the second fuse (EGI?) in the fuse box in the engine bay was blown.. I'm pretty sure it's called EGI Main fuse or something, I think it's 30 amp. it was a hairline fracture that I didn't see until i was looking at an electrical schematic nearly on top of it. I pulled it out, put a jumper wire in it's place, and it cranked over no problem..
try it, it can't hurt
One other thing to do while you have the plugs sitting on the throttlebody. I'm assuming you know how to do a basic timing for your car (with the mark on the driven gear of the CAS and the mark on the main pulley). If you know how to time it, then take the CAS out, make sure it's connected and the key is turned to "ON", then turn the CAS gear by hand. If you're not getting consistant, sequential spark across all the plugs like that, let us know then.

We're starting to get over my head, so I hope someone else will help out.. The EGI main relay was about to be my next suggestion.. . I don't think replacing the CAS will do anything, if the OHMs are within spec, it's a pretty simple system, so nothing should be wrong... Maybe grounding issue? Try running a jumper cable from the CAS housing to the negative? and maybe one from the coil chassis to the negative of the battery? I'm sorry, I don't really know what else to advise... So consider this a free bump...
Anyone else?
Sorry

It's exactly the same thing on all 4 plugs? 3 sparks & out, weird...If it's only one or two I'd say a coil (or maybe igniter burning out...But all 4? Could check the capacitor (under the trailing coils), maybe it's doing something funky, but if it's shorting to ground, the fuse should blow sooner or later...This sounds stupid, but are the CAS teeth perfectly meshing with the drive gear on the e-shaft?, and, the front key is installed to keep all that stuff from spinning on the e-shaft, right?

yeah exactly the same on all plugs. and all wires will set the timeing light off once. every thing has been checked and is within spec. about the cas teeth. i dont know. i have drivin the car for about 1250 miles and then i started having a problem. the problem started on my way to work and the car stoped running on my way home. thank god i was close to home and able to cost to my street where we then puch my car up the street to the driveway. as far as i know everything is installed right. cant find any signs its not.

Just for $hits and grins, remove that capacitor from ground (located below the trailing coils- if you're gumby you can get to it without moving the coil pack out of the way). I doubt that's it, but what do you have left, ECU (and wiring)?
