For a while the 3rd gen hit counter was getting pretty close. But then all the fast & furious nuts went away.

The other key is I think a lot more 2nd gen people work on their cars as opposed to the third gen people who seem much more inclined to take their car in to someone.

What fun is that?

Yo,

It's not like the 3rd Gen guys /like/ to spend thousands on their FD's at shops, they just have no other choice. We don't have 72 vacuum lines running underneath our intakes/plastic intercooler tops, etc...Their cars are like a fine Swiss watch, intricate but fragile. 2nd Gens are like G-Shocks, simple and rugged. *wink*

hey mazdaspeed7, i noticed your dash on your sig pic. isnt your oil pressure quite a bit low to be turning 6500 rpms? mine (the top left guage) goes over 60 psi at about 3000 rpms.

Long story, but it really was that low. It was 5 PSI at idle, and ~30 over 4K rpm. It was a rebuilt engine with 2K miles, and the builder built the engine wrong. Here is what the problem was

LOL, I havent visited this forum in a couple of months, and sure enough, the 2nd day back the Dash Pic Question comes up again.

I remember that being one of the last things I read before I stopped coming in here. I had to double check the Date on this thread

Actually, single turbo and 1/4 mile sections are my favorite, mainly because there are some very savvy people who post there (crispeed, RICE RACING, etc.). This is my second favorite, but there seem to be some new guys on here that are just f-ing morons.

Yeah, RETed is awesome... and I think RICE RACING last posted on the 30th or something. NOT HIM TOO! I think I'll drop him an email, and see how he's doing. He knows his sh*t! Very cool guy.

Yeah - what's up with that? I've been meaning to send them a PM to ask how they're doing.
