I understand that and you'll note I never even mentioned price.I simply said that calling it "mil spec" was not the best idea because in essence, "mil spec" is so generic a term as to be meaningless.
In fact, the military has tons of **** that doesn't work or works poorly...all of it is "mil spec".
Anyway, I wish the OP well and hope he pulls this off.

all that is left to source is the solenoid and afm connectors! which is turning out to be a real beach

The afm connector seems to be a delphi style connector , but it is probably sumitomo.
Does mazda manufacture the solenoids or are they denso ?

I hope to keep the price as reasonable as possible, i know how hard it can be for most people to want to have a nice ride and pay the bills at the same time ha

Would be nice, but for the price I would rather get a ISIS system.

The I wouldn't need anything from the existing system (besides the existing switches) and run only 1/20 of the wiring required (of a full loom).

Now if you were offering a loom made to the ISIS system id buy that

ISIS Intelligent Multiplex System - Automotive Wiring Harnesses, Car Wire Harness, Engine Wiring Harness, Auto Wiring Harness, Truck Wiring Harness, Car Wiring Kits

ok, as I said i would post some pics of some of the connectors i ordered and some just came in today. In the picture you will see two different styles, one being factory style and the other has a locking collar in the middle of the connector. I have more samples on the way
