270 xxx

ok i need advice. i found an 88 se and it is in immaculate condition on the body. but it does have 270 000 km on it. but at the same time it has a huge box full of oil change recipts and mantinence. he is charging me 5200$ canadian. should i buy the car or will it soon break down because i have heard that B13's are hard and expencive to repair. anything will help thank you.

Thats a lot of miles!! I got my 89 vert for $1800 and it has minor body damage. Its a rebuilt motor with only 45,xxx miles and a street port as well. I'd say no....

$5300 CND is still too expensive for a car w/ the OG motor.

thats a lot, i would talk him down quite a bit, a motor that old doesnt have too much life left in it, even if it is well maintained

and you absolutely must get a compression test


and btw, its 13B, not B13

It's 13b and you'd be crazy to spend that much, look around you can find pretty good condition TIIs with half that milage for that money.
