252 hp???
would you say this 252HP to the wheel is decent for a 13b-re with stock twins in non-seq. I'm planning to go to e-town this weekend and race...really dont expect to win....but I don't want to lose that bad.... I will be in stage 2 class I dont even know how they judge is it on best time or consistency? how does it work??? Ive been talking to others ...like civic owners who are pushing 310hp on stock motors should I even waste my time??? I have a 91 fc vert any other factors I should be looking at????

All you can do is show up and perform at your best.
Racing consists of preparation- both mechanical and mental- execution and a healthy dollop of sheer serendipity.
The phrase "**** happens" was made for competition...history is full of Davids who slew Goliaths- and vice-versa.
One thing that is certain- if you don't show up, you can't win.
Also, any true racer knows that you gotta run what ya brung cause it's almost certain that someone else has better equipment (at least on paper) but dyno sheets don't win races.

Is this a drag strip? If so, check the tracks rules first. Some strips won't let convertibles run without a roll bar, and every track requires convertible and coupe rollover protection once you are running fast enough. The only strip in Wisconsin that lets convertibles run requires a roll bar if you go faster than 13.5!!!

ok then..... well the rules state....Convertibles will go from 14.00 to 13.50 during eliminations and time trials for an eliminator. If a convertible is PURE STOCK it will be able to run up to 11.50 in time trials and on street nights, but it must be stock. No sticky tires, aftermarket bolt-ons, Nitrous, etc. will be allowed. Tech inspection will determine if a car is legal for the PURE STOCK rules. We will allow convertibles to run 12.80's or so as an example if they fit all the rules. The final say whether someone's car is legal and fits the PURE STOCK theme is totally up to the RP management.
