2 cyle snowmobile oil for premix?
i have a 1988 rx7 vert and i have removed and blocked the omp (suggested by pineapple racing to me) i have an 8oz thing of 2 cycle oil for "air cooled" for snowmobiles etc. etc. my question is (with a half a tank) should i run the Pennzoil 2cyle air cooled oil or should i go to autozone and grab some thing different. this will be the cars first crank since i rebuilt it so im running cheep oil to get started then drain after a few miles to clear all the "gunk" out.
Im also running pineapple racing inserts and a hold open on the secondaries, anyone running then knows of the air pump and vacuum actuators (what should i use to plug those holes.
This is my first time rebuilding a 13B from BAREBONES nothing and porting it with a "large street port template" from pineapple and the "EP1A exhaust porting template" ive done everything by the books and i want to make sure my first crank wont be the last...
thanks in advance for any help

the 2 stroke oil will burn out, so it wont have to be drained, not sure what you mean there?
Snowmobile oil ratings are actually better then marine ratings, but some of that has to do with pouring point and some of that has to do with the higher rpm range of snowmobiles.
I know I get asked similiar questions by boat owners with snowmobiles.

Is TCw-3 rating just for marines? Because ive only ever found that rating on the boat stuff i got from the servo when i was desperate. I normaly run a penrite 2 stroke oil, it seems to like that.

I run a ratio of about 70-100:1 in my autocross/race TII and just add the oil in with the gas when I fill the tank. I like using 2 stroke oil cause its meant to burn out and do its job all at the same time. I think thats what you're tanking about... or do you mean 2 stroke oil in the the engine like in the oil pan? In that case (you might think I'm crazy) but I put one quart of 2 stroke oil in and the rest regular 10W on the engine. can't hurt and when I rebuilt the engine last there wasn't much carbon build up.

I run the Quicksilver Full Synthetic gallon jug from Advance, its super pricey but my engine runs great and since my OMP lines are cracked it gives me peace of mind.
At the least I would run Marine premix or motorcycle premix, the stuff just for the lawnmowers is kinda iffy.
I run a 100 to 1 ratio, or ounce per gallon of gas.

doesnt matter what kind of 2 stroke oil it is, as long as its tcw-3 classification, its fine.
TCW3 is 2 stroke oil that burns without leaving deposits like ash
I just use a regular cap to plug off the actuator pipe.
now that I think about, you dont even have to plug it up since the air doesnt even go into the engine. it just goes into the actuators and thats it.
