Next time you drop some simple thing like a gasket into the intake manifold, and can't fish it out......get your air compressor out, take the lead plugs out, and back blow. Actually, the pressure will rotate the engine if it's high enough pressure, and you will get the air to back blow out the intake manifold. Have someone there to observe that the material did blow out.

yeah I won't be so stupid next time, maybe a powerfull shop vac too? The car still had good power past 2K rpms it still chirped the tires into 2nd, and pull hard in 3rd 4th and 5th......so hopfully I'll find that piece stuck to my front rotor housing and I'll just peel it off....I geuss I should do a rebuild but the engine only has about 45k miles on it total as I bought my car with a rebuild....do I need to change all the seals and springs on the front rotor? or can I get away with just removing that piece of gasket, and I'm geussing I don't even need to take the engine all the way apart, just remove the front cover and sidehousing so I can see into the rotor housing clearly....I have the engine out of the car, whats the best way to dissasemble it on an engine block stand or laying on the flywheel?
My car w/ a completely dead rear rotor beat my friends 96 civic ex in a race (wanted to have some fun before I took it out). By my guess-ta-mating (i had no exhaust what-so-ever or intake, just the turbo) I was boosting probably 9 or 10psi.
Notes: Pulled harder than my friends civic on a half dead motor. Yours still making compression should too.
