Okay I just bought a 88 RX-7 GXL (non-turbo) with 98,000 miles on it, and there is a few things i would like to now.
If anybody noes the what size cc Fuel Injectors I should be running.
Also when I start it up it takes like 5 seconds for it to start. It doesn't start up right away like a normal car does is that right?
And last how reliable are these engines like how long do they last and what are to most common things to wrong with them. And what are some easy mods to do to them!!!!!

A n/a will out last a turbo and have less problems but every car/motor has it personalities.
first off if the car was driven right and the oil was changed at the right time and taken car of then you can expect up to 200k miles. the motor in my gxl before it had a 13bt put in itwas at 210k miles then parted out.
first things to do it change all the fluids and check lines for leaks and all that stuff.
first mod for most people is a exahst system and/or intake.
welcome and drive hard, remember rotors are made to hit 7k rpms in daily driving and it keeps your secondaries working right.

also keep an eye on oil and coolant. know what your pressure should read, voltage etc etc. check for vac leaks. replace parts if you need to. little things here and there you do for the car will really help in the long run. you cant just drive for 5k then decide you want to check stuff. im in my engine bay probably once or twice a week looking around.

If the car is in poor tune, it will flood. Generally this is due to leaking injectors or low compression. First, do a full and complete tuneup. Procedures for this are found in the Factory Service Manual (see FAQ).
