Unhappy 1991 Mazda rx7

Hi Iam new to the rotary seen I have 91 rx7 and it won't start I have fuel and I
have spark. I don't have compression on any of the cylinders is there a special way to check this other than a standard compression tester, the guy I bought it
from said it just stopped running one day any suggestions and is that common
no compression on any of the cylinders HELP PLEASE !!

...hope you didn't pay too much for the car because it sounds like a blown motor. Rebuild or replace and you're looking at up to $3K.

Yep, I am sure you don't have compression on any cylinder.

The rotary engines don't have cylinders, or pistons, or cam shafts or exhaust valves...

take a spark plug out and turn the engine over. you should hear 3 steady "woosh"es

It may have been badly flooded. Hold the gas pedal down all the way (don't worry, fuel is cut) and crank for 15 seconds. Wait 15 seconds, then repeat. Do this a few times. Finally, try starting normally. If that doesn't work, push start it

We just used our standard compression tester which I dont think you can do. I just spoke the previous owner and it happen to him because it flooded, so iam going to try the transmission fluid procedure and then put in new spark plugs he didn't put in new spark plugs and they were wet with gas. Unless you have any other suggestions Iam goung to be working on it tommorrow any info would be

Well, it ran fine without cylinders, or pistons, or cam shafts or exhaust valves...

You probably flooded it. Follow the unflooding procedure found in the FAQ for FC sticky thread
