1990 rx7T2 $2000????Yay or Nay

I just saw this ad, is it worth $2000 obo
"1990 Mazda Rx7 turbo Part of roof and back window is wrecked. Motor and everything else still good. Willing to sell as whole or part out. Email for details. "

If it has a "salvage title" - pass on it. It'll always be a bitch to sell. If it does not, check the compression / frame / suspension / interior.

If it does not have a salvage title - get an estimate to get the body fixed and painted and base your offer off of the repair estimate..

These cars are hard to find - if it's mechanically sound I'd look into it...

You didn't mention the mileage or if it's something you're going to keep and modify.

If you love to get greasy and it is mechanically sound you could swap everything into a blown engine nice bodied RX (always found for cheap).

I say thats a little high. I saw that ad too. There is a GXL on e-bay that has the buy now feature of $450. I say buy that and make it a T2. I don't know which one will come out cheaper, but they both seem like a lot of work.
