Exclamation 1990 N/A to TII conversion

hey all ... what parts do i need for my conversion ...... what does it mean when it says i need a solenoid resistor ?? also can i use my N/A harness with a S5 TII motor ? and can i use my N/A rear end, starter, and drive shaft on a TII transmission. i have searched rigourisly and found nothing on these topics. i have most parts like TRANS, MOTOR, HOOD, AIRFLOW METER, ACC CABLE, ECU, BOOST SENSOR, CLUTCH, FLYWHEEL, is there anything im missing.

you are missing a driveshaft
get the mazdatrix one - or get a t2 rear end an dhalf an dt2 shaft
the auto one can be used as a temporary
but after you put it on, try to shake the driveshaft
most likely, you will be like - **** this ****, and buy a correct length driveshaft
you can also use a t2 driveshaft and drill holes for it to fit... fd guys do that
the NA harness works
use the VDI plug for your knock sensor
and the 5/6th port plug for your stock boost controller

jspec rear end? so thats the same as a t2 rear end - and in that case, you can just use the normal t2 driveshaft.

I know you did not search rigourisly. I've done the swap myself and found ALL of my answers on this site by searching and doing countless hours of research. listen to what everyone else is trying to tell you. you should be thankful that SLPIN is lookin out for you. i know how he feels. listen to jenkin and look the thread up, listen to C ME Drift and check out www.rotaryresurrection.com. many of us are willing to help you out, but you need to help yourself first.

where's your

Turbo Harness?
Rear end or mazdatrix driveshaft?
Starter?
intercooler?
BOV?
Downpipe?

if you have any doubts, check it over again. give more info next time also. did you buy a motor/tranny package or are you piecing this one by one? whats the comp like? turbo play? are you willing to rebuild if it does not work? did you buy from a reputable source? i hate to dime you out, but you need to search harder and have more patience.

^^^ you do NOT need the turbo harness for a S5
the NA one will do JUST FINE

if you want the knock sensor, all you have to do is cut 1 wire, like i mentioned.

If you have series five you don't/won't need a solenoid resistor. So forget about it. Not required on a series five.

And...what does EMO stand for? Sorry, I lead a sheltered life.

Thanks to urban dictionary for saving HAILERS:

Punk music on estrogen. Often acoustic guitar with soft, high male vocals that dwell exessively on the singer's feelings, especially melancholy remembrances of past relationships/mistakes in life. A form of music that diverged from punk in the '80s, the name "emo" is derived from the emotive style of the lyrics and music. This genre has lately been marketed heavily by the music industry to teenagers with bands such as Dashboard Confessional and Taking Back Sunday, and has seen much commercial and mainstream success. The music has also spawned a subculture which conforms to certain conventions in dress such as tight sweatshirts, tight band T-shirts and horn-rim glasses. Adherents profess to exessively melancholy temperments. Males that adhere to the emo subculture are sometimes confused with metrosexuals; indeed the line between the two is somwhat blurred, though both groups claim to be intouch with their emotional side. The ephemeral and hackneyed nature of emo songwriting suggests that its audience will be restricted largely to teenagers. the genre suffers from a lack of credibility outside the aforementioned demographic group, much like current Nu Metal bands.

YUCK! I read the above then went to do a SEARCH on GOOGLE and came up with this url http://www.fourfa.com/ I'm glad I lead a sheltered life an plan on keepin on leading a sheltered life.

Let's see, I've gotta keep this thread related. The solenoid resistor is just two resistors in a heat sink that are used on early series four that had low impedence injectors. The resistors were inline with the 12vdc wires to the injectors. There. Thread related. Done
