ok here is the issue, currently my mechanic is working on swapping my non turbo 1988 stock motor for the turbo version (same year, bought the engine, trans, and ecu), he has run into a few little problems as would be expected, but the big thing as of right now is that from what he is telling me is that the connections on the ecu are different and he is unable to connect the dash and all the the ecu, has anyone else run into this problem/any more and how did u cope with it? (also i would love to be able to do this swap myself and give u a better idea of everything that is going on but i am just too busy with work and moving right now and i needed someone to be fully committed to this job, just to let u guys know that much before i get flamed for not doing the work myself )

 

If you stuck with the same series of swap parts (ie. S4 into S4), then the ECU plugs are the same. what specifically is the problem he is having?
