1985 Savanna GT-X Rotary Turbo emblem

Hi Guys n Girls my first post, hope you can help me. I'm looking for this emblem that came in the 1985 Mazda RX 7 Savanna GT-X. Been looking around the site for days and cant spot any pictures of cars with the emblem.

look at 9:17 in youtube video

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bacOv...os=47wVazkYKUY

at 0:17

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-DgDl...os=B7osR2mdenY

and in

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s1MRh...os=2wzcFPhxl4o

I never seen the emblem up close and don't know what it looks like.
I'm thinking it looks like this air filter cover.

Dose anyone have a link to a picture , or a site where one can purchase this emblem thanks.

I could be wrong but I think it's part of the taillight I don't think you can get just the emblem by it's self. I'm pretty sure you need jdm s4 lights.

Hi tevan thanks for the reply . You are correct after further reading found out they did come in the jdm s4 lights. Also found this photos in older post.

I'm going to try and recreate the badged to be made into a custom Rotary Turbo vinyl sticker to look as stock as possible. Do you know if the color is Red or more orange like the Turbo logo in the inter cooler cant really tell by the pictures.

Thanks again.

In the bottom photo you posted, it definitely appears to be a decal rather than something embossed or molded into the taillight. You should be able to make a nice vinyl replica.

Just a guess here, but I'd bet the true color is red rather than orange. Red was a very popular accent color on car emblems in the 80s; more so than orange. I wouldn't be surprised if the colors in the earlier photo of the engine and airbox are slightly off.

Gonna bump this again.

If nobody has made them I might have access to a vinyl cutter to make some decals.

Poor poor Americans. I've got two sets of s4 tails.bought for 10nzd which is like 7 usd. One has the decal. I'll take a better photo with a measure in the photo when I can be bothered to go out to the garage.
