13bt supercharger options
First off I know the engine already comes turbo, and it'll be cheaper and better peak hp to just stay turbo. I do not have the money for turbo upgrade, so, of course, I will not have the money to go supercharger.
I did some searching and found this, http://www.camdensuperchargers.com/index.php?pag=402 . Before I would only see those kits they sold for the 6 port NA 13b engines. But after reading more in debt on that website, they mention they sold kits for the 4 port 13b in 5-12inch superchargers. Anyone know if those kits are for the old 13b 4 ports found in fb chasis, or the 13bt 4 port as well?
They make them so you can bolt a carburator right on top. This picture, http://www.camdensuperchargers.com/index.php?pag=402 , shows a piece with 2 throttle bodies bolted to it. Does anyone know if those are custom pieces or does someone sell them?
Turbos are awesome, it has a nice kick everytime you setp on it, but i'm really curious about boosting, but with a NA powerband.

But if you want ITBs, there are several options to go with. TWM, or make a setup using some other stock part, like from a Hayabusa or Honda RC50, something like that.

Rotors still spinning

While I don't object to superchargers on rotaries in the least, the Camden unit is definitely a step backwards in performance. I'm not saying it can't be fun and isn't a decent upgrade on a low powered 12A or 13B n/a but while the stock TII turbo is an overrated, restrictive, hot air spewing piece of crap, the Camden unit has even less total power potential. For a performance upgrade it would take some custom work to install a much nicer more efficient unit such as a Vortech or a Procharger and even then it would be VERY expensive. The turbo option is definitely the much cheaper and easier option and you already know what potential it has since it is proven.

The Roots type can have a charge cooler, but it's a pain in the rear, so most people don't bother with it. A centrifugal supercharger's boost is tied to engine rpm, so it does not produce max boost until engine redline. While a Roots blower is not very efficient, it does at least produce boost very quickly. There are advantages and disadvantages to every supercharger type, but I do agree that the Roots is way behind the times. Hopefully the new Eaton TVS Roots (a Roots modified in a Lysholm manner) will work a little better.

Thanks for all the great replies. Yeah, after reading more about the roots type, I was turned off. I was thinking about a centrifugal one, but machining a bracket would be $$$. Doh!
Anyone know what type of supercharger the Rolex cup rx8 3 rotor supercharged engines use?

This is the only 2 rotor with an SC that I've seen make pretty good power, and if you read in the end he goes turbo. I think if you're not looking for crazy power and just want some boost a supercharger would be a fun option if you have the money to do so. Your best bet would be to do everything custom I'd think, to choose the right supercharger, pulley size, intake, etc. to make it worth it.
Ther's a 3 rotor on here with a Demon twin-scroll that looks like I blast! I'd love to do an SC build one day for fun.
