i guess in your case it'll cheap as hell..........considering you already have the motor and everything needed to do the swap.........you gonna ditch the twins right?

prolly a small turbo, thinking t4. get him up to 400bhp, and simplify this **** outa the motor without having to upgrade the 550 and 850's no emmisions or anything like that power steering and alternator is pretty much it.

i don't know anything technical besides basics when it comes to the 3rd gen.........search the 3rd gen section for the electrical how-to's......... download the FD and FC FACTORY SERVICE MANUALS (FSM) and start putting stuff together little by little.
Hope you can read wiring diagrams and follow instructions carefully.........I was able to do my Swap like that and I didn't think it was TOO difficult....I wish I hadn't rushed things so if anything take THIS as my only advice:
take your time.....do things right the first time or you will pay for it later.

and go find the 3rd gen manuals..........
good luck.

your not going to get 400bhp out of the stock injectors the FD's are rated to 330bhp at 80% duty cycle

yea i have the 3rd gen wiring manual, and if the chart is acurate then 850 and 1300 should be more then enough. ive seen people hit 350 on stock fuel system, but ill fuss with that when the time comes worry about getting it bolted in first

i read about putting in a different crossmember. i wonder if i could just lop off the crossmember from my fd subframe that i already cut up because the car was in a bad wreck and that side had a bolt strip on me and round off. take that center section and weld it in between the second gen rails

thanks for the pm, do these mounts solve the severe angle issue i keep hearing about? i know very little about second gens as you all might have gatherd ive owned an fd for about a lttle over a year now so i know a decent amount about those (still learning tonz tho) lol but i figured this would be a good learning project and would help my freind get his **** on the road with a newer motor. who can complain with a straight body second gen for 50 bucks
