The main reason why I went with a REW swap was because of what you are stating. I originally had ordered a fc3s remanufactured engine from Mazda. After a month or two of getting the same "we dont have the parts in order to build you one" response, I opted for a "used" remanufactured rew engine.

At the time, other than the used rew engine that I purchased, I could either get a brand spanking new REW engine from or a remanufacutred one from Mazda. Waiting time was less than 2-3 weeks.

Hey guys! Let me be the first to say it's an honor this thread back to life. But I was curious if anyone had any updated contact info for JR Fabrications. Or would someone be willing to send me pictures with measurements so I can have the engine mount made. Anyone willing to sell theirs?

When I was in the process, I contacted them. Back then, they were asking somewhere around $750 for their mount. I went another route, doubt they sold more than 5 units...

Where would you bolt onto the center iron? And Are you talking about a welded strap? I'm gunna have a little more then 280 so any extra reinforcement I can do the better! TIA

Hmm well that "looks" easy enough lol will just need to weld some brackets onto the frame. With that conversion engine mount, do you need bushing? (My motor was directly bolted no bushings when I got it) or just bolt her solid?

they are setup so you can put a 13B-REW in an FC chassis with the FC engine mounts, and it will put the engine in the same spot as the old one was

well I ask because I'm putting this into a mgb (had a 2nd Gen center mounted) and just curious if I need bushings when I go and make these custom brackets to replace the **** ones I had.
