13B 6-Port Exhaust Manifold Size

Hey all,

I'm currently trying to route the exhaust manifold of my 13B in my Opel Kadett and I just want to know what pipe size does everyone suggest.

The standard exhaust is 2" but the exhaust ports on the engine appear to be a little over 2.5". To give free flow, should I use something like 2 3/4" tubing going into 3" or what?

Any infor/help you can give me lads would be appreciated.

Dan.

exhaust port on the engine is about 48mm (its not quite round), stock exhaust manifold entrance is 50mm (or maybe 52mm?)

stock piping after the manifold is 50mm ID.

the racing engines actually have a smaller port exit, 43mm and use 43mm ID pipe. on an FC engine 43/44mm pipe is fine, but it needs to be flared to match the engine a little
