12v ignition power source
i'm assuming the best place is to take the 12v ignition power from the wires coming out of the lock cylinder? Looked on the car, and on the fsm. End result didn't really tell me much other then the wires outta the lock cylinder on the steering columb. Just thought i'd as you guys to confirm on it.

if you meant the one about installing a radio....i'm not isntalling a radio
been running the multimeter on the lock cylinder all afternoon, doesn't seems like there's much reason why i shouldn't run it straight off of the cylinder.

There are switched power sources all over the car, and the FSM wiring diagrams show them pretty clearly. Which one you use depends what you're installing and where you're installing it, which you haven't told us...

things like the coils and fuel pump. Running it direct. So from the look of it, i should be runing it straight out of the 10GA ish sized black\white wire coming out of the lock cylinder aka the ign1. Anyone know if it's a good idea or no?
these wiring diagrams really takes a while to get used to how it works

Don't run the fuel pump directly from an IGN source. In the event of an engine stall (like in a collision) the fuel pump will continue to run. This is very unsafe.
At the ignition switch, the black/white wire is IGN.
In the engine bay, all black/yellow wires are IGN.

wow i sure didn't find that. sometimes it's hard to find things in the faq. does the original thread have a bigger version> cuz that's reallllyy hard to read :S too small\blurry
hmmm veryy good point. I guess i SHOULD use the relay supplied with the ecu and make the kill switch on the fuel pump supply power prior to the relay.
