Question 12mpg freeway?

Should i be getting better than 12.1mpg on the freeway? cause i cant afford this ****.. Low *** hell too...any ideas..comp is fine that i can tell ya

Check for clogged cats and check the function of the AFM.

^ It shouldn't. That is somebody who dosen't know how EFI works. The 3800 rpm point is where the aux. ports open, and that has no bearing on fuel mileage. It opens the 2ndairy injectors, yes, but also cuts the duty cycle of the primary's in half or less. It dosen't effect your mileage at all.

What was listed above (fuel filters (in tank and in line), O2 sensor, spark plugs & wires, and clogged) should cover the possibilities.

I kinda agree with falcoms..What if i was holding 4k or 5 k..holding a speed without my foot into the gas..It should not be DUMPING fuel

you might have bad injectors... on my car the fuel pump assembly doesn't fit flush with the tank and so some evaporates out ... I'm proabaly getting in the single digits....
