is a 12inch efan enough?

im converting to an e-fan and i didnt know if a 12 inch fan is big enough. i took a look at it tonight and it looked a little small and i im wondering if it would be best to use a 16 inch or would that even fit

thanks for the input

I know it's a bit more money than you might want to spend, but I use the Flex a lite Black magic fan on my TII and love it!! I can sit in traffic for over an hour and not have a single over heating issue. And this is in the summer heat of Cali. I believe the model number is 155 from Flex-a-lite. They sell the fan on summit and partsamerica.com as well. Good luck.

I also am running a flexalite. Awesome fan. They're worth every penny. If you want to save some money I wouldn't buy the cheap fan. I would go to the scrap yard and get one. If you do a search you'll find there a few cars that are popular donors. Likely last a lot longer and work better than a cheap fan.

The FAL black magic fan is a rip off, had one, sold it.

I use a Mr.Gasket 16" shielded fan on a simple DIY sheet aluminum shroud, pics/info here:
http://pengaru.com/~swivel/cars/rx-7/pics/07-23-2004/

works fine, was cheap (less than half the black magic price), has a perfect fit, and the whole thing with the shroud is significantly lighter than the black magic fan - especially if you use the big assed steel mounts that come with the black magic fan.

BTW, the mr. gasket is simply a resold revcor generic fan, you get the exact same fan from other companies like BeCool for significantly more $$, same box and all just different brand/art on the box.
