help with a question?

as i reach higher rpm's, my 88 mazda rx-7 does not seem to accelerate too much, u can just hear the engine rev. Does anyone know the cause or problem? I think its the clutch.. let me know. thanks.

Well... You'd KNOW if the clutch were slipping. Do a quick and hard LOW RPM shift and find out for SURE if it's the clutch, lol.

If you've got a non-turbo Rx7, chances are that the 5th and 6th ports are stuck shut.

Do a 'search' for "5th and 6th ports". This is a common issue with N/A's that is relatively easy to test/fix.
