12a tranny into fc?

12a tranny into fc?

i'm wondering if a 12a tranny would bolt up to an S5 motor with an s5 na clutch and flywheel?

But up, yes. Fit in the car, no. The shifter is totally in the wrong spot, as are the mounts. I'm almost certain that all the NA clutches and flywheels are the same diameter.

You can swap the tail housing from an FC onto it and use it that way, it'll put the shifter in the right spot and will allow the use of an FC transmission crossmember, but be sure to get the right one for the tail housing used, S4 and S5 are different, as are the NA and TII ones.

Also you'll need the 1st gen starter, and I think the slave cylinder.
