10th AE door lock problem!
My trouble is my key wont go in the drivers side lock seems pretty fubar. I have the special 10th AE key so changing the locks would give me new keys....not a good idea! Do I have any other options? The passenger side lock works fine. My question is will the passenger lock work on the drivers side if I switch them? This would make it easier on me. Any info?
Thnx

Hey, I had the same problem with mine, what I did was I got some WD-40 and pushed the little straw it comes with to spray with, into the key hole and sprayed it in there like crazy. Then I got the key and put it in and out of the hole, then it let up, and now it's real smooth.

Banned. I got OWNED!!!
10th anniversaries are steaming piles of ****. You should trade it for a nice s4 base model. Theyre extremely light weight and simple to work on, and no stupid *** special keys, noisy engines, or power windows. I can set you up with a nice model whenever youd like, so give me a call today!

As covered many times before WD-40 eats teflon....
good way to waste the key cylinder.
In the future you may wish to use dry lubricants, such as graphite or silicon spray after using a little plastic safe tuner cleaner.
Because although it may work now, you shortened the life of the key cyl and its tab by 50% because you used the devil liquied WD-40
