10AE Sitting For Two Years-Help

My sons pristine 10AE has been sitting in a heated garage for almost three years. I am bringing it soon to a very good general shop. Can the Forum recommend the steps for them to follow to get it started? The RX7 has only 28000 miles and is completly stock. Thanks much1

Might want to look at Aaron Cake's site on unstoring an RX-7.
http://aaroncake.net/RX-7/unstore.htm

I would love to see pics of the car if you have them.

More thoughts

This AE is actually like new!! We might be interested in selling. It is located in the Milwaukee area. Thanks for the other suggestions and I do have pics. that I will post for people to look at. I also have a clear sunroof that I bought and neverput in approximately 10 years ago. If anyone is interested in a buy give me a call at 720-938-4866 for any discussion, The car was originally taken care of by the Rivera RX7 racing mechanics here in Denver and about 5 years ago I gave it to my older son in Milwaukee. At that time it had about 22000 miles on it. Even then it created a lot of lookers when I drove it from Denver and people asked if it was new. Some nice memories! I will keep the forum informed as to disposition.

I'm curious of this thing as well- a car with that kind of mileage is rare at this day and age.

If you might sell, set a price on the high side and post it in the 2nd gen for sale section.

This is what a unique, quite possible lowest millage AE looks like. I thought the forum would like to see.

So it runs huh. In the picture #6 where you show the driver's side I can see that the RPM needle isn't resting at 0 but at 750. Also the Temp gauge needle isn't flat which means the motor is hot, the oil gauge is also not flat meaning psi, and the boost gauge is flat meaning you got vacuum??? So a Running Tenth with that many miles... How much did you say you want for it???????

Not trying to hyjack Car looks nice except the radio. I have the same car cover, and also have a low milage A.E. Your car has approx 3 times the mileage of mine

Mine has 7500 now

I wasn't trying to sound like a dick just thought i clairify the lowest mileage deal

Johnny-Thanks For The Information

We appreciate your info. on the AE. I have been away from this Forum for over 5 years and my son and I have lost track of whats happening in the RX7 world. Our desire is to get a fair price for a car that should be driven and not sit in a garage, Notice, I said "fair" and not high! I just appreciate all the info. that has been given to us and hope that we can work out an arrangement with a young man who lives very close to the AE and would put the car on the road. If it does not work out with our Minnesota friend then I will list the car in the FS section of the forum and see what happens. Thanks again-John Bradley
