I started my car yesterday morning and let it warm up then when I tried to leave I had no power steering. I checked under the hood and all belts are on and movin and there is no sign of any problems, even plenty of ps fluid. So i shut off the car and restart it and its back.

Then this morning i started it and checked to see if ps was working and it was, so i listen to some music and wait for it to warm up and then when I tried to leave, once again ps is gone. So I restarted it again and its back working again.

Does anyone have any advice on this? Or can tell me whats wrong?

bump. 4 days in a row with same problem

 

I've had this happen once before, and turning the key off/on fixed it for whatever reason. My only guess would be an issue with the connection to the power steering computer, which is located under the driver-side dash.

 

put new fluid in today. I guess I'll see in the morning if that did anything
