1 cat = overboost?

Ok, my exhaust is damaged and rigged up with a chain. I was rallying and hit a rock which ripped up the stock catback so I took it off. I drove with the cats on just hanging there, but the pipe that connects the stock midpipe to the 1st cat broke off. I welded it back together and put a chain under my car to hold up the 2nd cat from dragging. It runs good as is and I think it sounds mean as hell, not too loud, but just deep and angry.

Anyways, I've got the stock fuel system and I wonder if I only ran the downpipe cat, if I'd overboost. I'm sure my cats are clogged (**** for power over 5k). My ghetto rigged 2nd cat drags on speedbumps, so I'd like to fix it. Any help? thanks

hmm

I have only the main cat (mid-pipe) left and I do not get any overboost....but if you only have the pre-cat (down-pipe) in...that might be to high flow and give you boost creep...

Anyone else figure that?
