Nope still haven't fixed it. I'm just not online as much as I used to be. I'm going to unplug the tps and see what it does. Will it even drive w/o the tps plugged in I thought it wouldn't ?

It'll drive all day and night long with the tps disconnected. The ECU defaults to a given percentage when the output of the tps is missing.

The ECU defaults to 100% Throttle. Which is most likley around 25% actual throttle.

Deceleration might be a bit jerky during deceleration. You will hear poping in the exhaust as well during deceleration.

LOL! exactly what it did. still bounces while at idle when cold, gas mileage is way worse, but most of the problems are fixed.

Bouncing at idle with the tps disconnected means there is an air leak somewhere and or one of the vacuum hose is connected up wrong. An example would be the hose going to the fuel injector air bleeds being put on a nipple that has vacuum on it. A no no.

I had the same problem with surging at around 1500 rpm, and I did the same thing by setting the TPS resistance to 1k. But I found another thing to do which has actually fixed the surging for me. Instead of setting the resistance at 1k Ohms, set the TPS to 1.0 Volts.

With the positive lead of a Voltmeter at the TPS Signal Terminal (the "top" one) and the negative lead at any known good ground, turn the Key On Engine Off and adjust until you read 1.0 Volts

Now if you go back and check the resistance it will actually be at somewhere around 2k Ohms, way off from what everyone is saying, but for me it worked.

I had this same exact problem on my FD. My problem area was 1500-2000 and anytime I fell in that range whether free reving or in any gear under load it would surge. I tried swapping out many many things and I just got to where I drove around it.

I finally fixed the problem a few weeks ago. It was a simple fix, all I had to do was close up the gap between my CAS's and the trigger wheel. I realize the setup is different on the FC but the issues you are having are just like what I was experiencing and since you are still having the problem you could look into your CAS setup.
