1/4 mile times
I was wondering what kind of quarter mile times you all have achieved with your cars, and with what type of modifications it took you to get there. Especially the N/A's motors.

von, go check the time sheets on the 1/4 car. NOT ESTIMATE TIME. Go to the track, you will see that S4 have better times. The fastest S5 car is vosko on the forum. A lot of S4 run 15.7 or 15.8, search the forum. you will see.

i ran a 16.4 @ 83.6 mph on friday . my 60' time was 2.45 . i have a s5 na with a c.a.i , pacesetter header , high flow cat , 2.5" cat-back , e-fan , pineapple racing sleeves ,tb mod , ported intake man, t2 fuel pump, ac removed , and it weighs 2700 lbs without me in it . i also have a s-afc that i need to hooked up and an act clutch that needs to be installed . my launches were disgusting , i think once i get some meatier tires in the back and get my clutch installed i'll be doin sub 16 sec runs . i also think my engine is only around 80% . 2 diff people on this forum say ... "the best mod is learning how to launch" .. i agree with this b/c the first 60' are the most crucial and hardest to get down right . from there on your just up shifting . another quote i think i seen on here was " the best mod is having your engine rebuilt" it makes sense , you cant expect anything out of a tired engine . my engine still pulls hard ... i know its not 100% but for now it gets the job done . when the money is there i'll get it done ... i think i'll drive down to va or wherever hypnotiz or whatever his name is ..and have him do it ... his prices seem real good . anyway sorry i got off the subject ... i dont see how a s4 is quciker than an s5 . s5 has more hp , torque , and higher compression , and they weigh about the same . i'd basically like an explanation and how they are quciker if they are ..facts .
