$8000-10000cdn for ngine swap?

HI im in vancouver BC

and i just want to know if 10000 is reasonable for a engine swap for a s5 Na- turbo conversion.

10000 includes everything i need the man said.




GOOD deal? bad deak?

thats about 7800USD, seems a bit much... considering an j-spec and a rebuild cost me about 2k with a bunch of other parts. Mine should be less than 3k including what I paid for the car.

Way too much, you could buy a whole TII FC and get a rebuild for that.

yae thought so...the guy that told me works in a shop in vancouver that specializes in rotary engines...he said i would have to get computer crap and this and that

a guy i know is selling my a 13bt engine for 900 cdn


how much would the whole swap cost??
including all the computer stuff?

The computer is usually not too much. anything between 50 and 150. you could buy and entire front clip off a japanese car and have it shipped to you house for like $3k USD mabey a little more and do everything fromt that.

if you have 10k to spend.... sell yours and buy a turbo II. my friend is selling a nice 90. (if he still has it)

there is ALOT of different parts. it's alot of work to do it "right".

but in the end you'd still be better off with a real turbo II...

lol im not going to pay 10000 to swap engine.

yae im just gona look for a cheap x7 turbo. i baught my first one for 13000 with only 47000km on it. thats a good deal?!?!?

nothing wrong with it at all....the driver seat have a lil crack on it and thats it...ive had it for like 4 months i think...maybe 2 and so far nothing go wrong...ive got it checked out nothing wrong too

ummm i dont wanna say names...but i think they are the only ones in vancouver BC area...
specialize in rotary engines but do other work too

Does your swap Include the entire Drivetrain aswell? 10 grand? You could have It for less than half. I'd just stick with the NA and Invest the rest In a new home. Atleast thats what I'd do.
