dude, are you kidding. roof racks make your car look super aggressive (given the right stance and flushness of wheels).

There is absolutely nothing wrong with roof racks.

Also - to the guy who suggested buying a subaru, or an EVO (both $30k cars) instead of a $200 roof rack, think before you speak.

I have a snowboard rack for my FC. Originally came with my Honda but fits the seven perfect, and yeah, looks badass with boards on it :-) no pics tho

 

theres a thread on zilvia about these, people piecing them together from craigslist and than ordering the mount pieces etc.... They hurt gas millage pretty bad, something id consider since our rx7s aint exactly the best cars on gas, but i suppose thats mostly due to the spoiler piece on there.

i found a rack with the ski/snowboard rack already with it and i just bought some Q clips already..

im glad im not the only one who like racks ahha

HEY TYLER!!!! POST SOME PICTURES if you still got the rack and can put it on just for reference on a white FC lol =]

not to mention only bad gas millage but also an annoying whistling sound if you dont have a fairing or the correct size

 

i wouldnt mind one either, so i could take my bike places to ride it.. nothing nice near where i live.

I dig them. I would definitely put one on my FC. I wouldn't pay much for it though, too much other stuff I want for my car. Plus my snowboard fits in the hatch just fine, and its a 158! Can't wait to downsize.

 

158??? dang mine is a 157 and it can bearly clear my seat haha..... i wouldnt want it to tear up the leather on the back of my seat anyways plus i am bring ing some gear and a mini gas grill.... im still gonna get that rack... hopefully i can pick it up tomorrw =].. then i just need the clips from ebay and a new fairing from dicks sporting goods.... and its all gravey!!!

yo i completely support you, on putting on the roof rack on the 7.
Cause i been looking everywhere for anyone who might have that and not too many.

So when ever you get your rack post pics so we can see how it came out. im sure it looks NICE>

I agree on ppl have different uses... its just that its a lil shockin to see on a 7.. But ya know if I snowboarded and needed one it would be useful..

yeah sure, im going to pick it up from Manhattan beach tomorrow.... and the Q clips will be coming in this weekend or tuesday and ill get the fairing as well... ill post pictures as soon as i get all the parts to make it work... =]
