These are the last three times you've posted anything in this thread. From these three posts, I've gathered that you have

1. Owned a FC with a roof rack
2. Think roof racks on the FC fail
3. Own an AWD truck, and have a thing for pink anime avatars.

With that being said, it's very justified that hypertek called you out and said you fail. You are an idiot who contradicts himself . As for your statement about telling everyone to go buy a truck, shutup. Seriously. Which brings me to my next point, His car. His choice. The same point can be argued for your intelligence, but I won't waste time getting into that discussion.

This thread was created for one reason by the OP, and that was to gather information about, and pertaining to the aesthetics necessities for a roof rack fitted for the FC. Next time you decide to open your mouth with useless information, do yourself a favor and shutup.

By the way, for an AWD truck owner that can "afford two cars to haul his **** around" that sure is a manly avatar you've got going on there.

Keep it real tough guy.

my first post was blatant sarcasm............... common an fc with 31's and a spare tire on the back???? hello are u a retard???

second post stated the obvious........... roof racks on sports cars fail

and third, im not telling everyone to buy a truck, im saying why not buy a truck instead of ruining your car and making yourself look like a tool. And yes, his car his choice........ but why choose to be a huge *** when you have a choice and people around you can talk u out of doing something that a tree hugger would do to their prius.

you are not lance armstrong

you are not a pro snowboarder

roof racks are not cool

Gundam chicks are ******* awesome

so are AWD trucks

hey chill out man, no offense. Some of us actually think its cool to want to take our bikes and sporting goods in our rx7s. I actually want a truck in a few years when Im ready to purchase one. For now, a roof rack would be a pretty nice novelty.

1. idk if your been reading what ive been saying but i never stated i wanted to put a bike on my rack so yes im not a lance armstrong

2. never said i was a pro snowboarder, and since when do i have to be a pro snowboarder to have a roof rack???

3. gundamn chicks are not real lol no offense but i do like the anime show

4. not every one can just buy a 4x4 truck to haul stuff around when you have other stuff to pay for and other obligations to deal with in this crappy economy we are in

5. its a sports car!!! damit why cant it have a roof rack... and its not just any roof rack.... its a YAKIMA lol

6. dont hate

i dont mind what you say about roof racks, i can care less what you think.. i just wanted to see if anyone else has done it and what it would look like on a 7...

so stop saying roof racks are a fail just cause you think so..... if you hate the roof rack so much then dont post in this thread anymore and act like you never read or posted on it... but an opinion is just an opinion.. nuf said

no hard feelings

Yea, this is the one i meant. I believe this is the one your also talking about. Its expensive but im sure its def worth it.

Same here not trying to put bikes on mine just snowboards.

how long you plan to get your bars? i think a little longer looks nice and fit some more things. in case in the future you might want to out a basket...just for the fun of it. I was also thinking about that.

^ To be honest I have no idea, it was on my honda when I bought it. Was bored and threw it on the seven to see if it fit, and actually fits better than on the accord. But mine isn't a bike or roof rack, its solely a ski/snowboard rack. Exactly like the Thule one above

Originally Posted by DC 91 fc3s

Hmm, was wondering the same thing. Why would I need to be pro to take my snowboard... snowboarding... thought that was a common thing.

Blwn rtr, I really just don't see what you're getting at. It's not like I cruise around all day with my snowboard and rack on. But the few times I've used it to go, I get alot of looks and compliments. Cause honestly when do you see an FC climbin up mountains that only AWD Subarus and SUVs are. I call that using my car to its full potential. I also AutoX and stuff, so I don't think you have any right to tell people how to use their car. Cause you say I'm "gay" for doing it. Yet every time I do, I'm so glad I did, cause it just makes the trip that much fore fun. Plus I really don't see what it has to do with sexuality, you mind delving deeper into that one, I'm curious on your logic...

How does bike riding make you a ***? I don't have money for another car, I don't have space for one, I can't afford more insurance, my bike is my main mode of transportation, the roof rack does need to be left on all the time, and I honestly don't want more than one car. More than one car per person is completely unnecessary for most of us...

i donno make due with what you've got i guess. if its only practical for you to own one car then roof rack it up, why not. i just cant picture a 7 with that installed, it seems vulgar.

i might have been an *** to those who are enthusiastic about roof racks and for that i apologize, but i personally would never put on on the 7.....

yup thats the one...for $130 i can say it can be worth it... i just dont know if the actuall Q tower clamp on that kit is adjustible from lide to side... hope it is... and im sure if i do put it on, i wont be able to open the hatch all the way up.... due to the extened rods that will be sticking out in the back... ill see if i can get my hands on one and maybe modify it to work with the 7...

well i picked up the rack today in Manhattan beach... was a long drive but well worth it for the price i got it for =].... the bars a 48", it came with two keys and all the locks are the same for the rack itself and the snow/ski rack, and it came with a free bike mount which i dont need so if any one wants it just pm.. ill let it go for a cheap price compared to brand new $$$$...

cant wait for the Q clips to come in and the fairing!!! hope fully i dont need to buy a Q stretch kit cause i dont have enough for it yet... need to save up for the seasson pass @ Mt HIGH =]

ill keep you guys posted on the rack developments haha

Wow sounds like it was def worth the drive. Thats a lot of stuff. I actually been looking for a bike roof rack ! but haven't had the money to get one...there are so expensive ...let me know.

Nice bro. my Ski/snowboard rack for my accord, i got it for cheap too, and holds 4+ snowboards.

Im not sure but i think you might need the Yakima extension. cause the 7's roof are short.

I think the only way the roof rack might get in the way of the hatch , will be when you have the snowboards/skis on the roof rack to go boarding. but if you have the bike rack off you should be straight.
