Yakima Roof Rack???

update!!
well i just put on the rack tonight..... found out that the rack i bought wasn't a Q tower system.. it was a yakima SST rack which used Y-CLIPS and not Q-CLIPS.... basically its the older version of the Q towers now... i searched for Y-clips for my 7 and nothing came up... i still have the Q clips coming in from ebay so hopefully that might work... for now i just reshaped the clips it came with that were from a VW jetta.... i hammered and bent these suckers to clamp on my car.. over all i just need to re spray the clips with some rustproof enamel and it should look like new.... the rack fits good and will look even BETTER when i the new 38" yakima fairing comes in!!!
=} over all im happy with the way its on right now
will post up some pictures later today (sunday) when the sun is out...

oh man the Q-clips weren't the ones ? weird...you have a new Yakima rack probably ?

naw its actually an older yakima... i noticed on the yakima site it says they are discontinued already haha.. no wonder it was cheap.. but its all good it works and i have the parts i wanted on it... so im happy
okay so here are a few pictures without the front yakima fairing.. it hasnt came in the mail yet so be patient.. so im rocking it with out it for now..
when i first started putting on i thought that i would never be able to open my sun roof again.. but after fitting it all together and getting it as stable as possible i noticed the towers and bar clears my sun roof.. so its kind of cool that i didnt lose that luxury of the top open =]
i know it may look a little ugly without the fairing but im sure it will look better when it get on there this week

will post up more pictures later of how the clips are mounted and how it looks with boards on top =]... for now thats all ill post until the fairing comes in

But looks really good, Rugged look with speed.
yea with fairing its going to give it a nice touch.

all right!!!! i just got the fairing!!!!! =]
i just got home from work and there it was in my house just waitng for me to get home lol
its pretty late now to take pictures so ill post pictures up tomorrow
looks good an completes the look a lot!!!
