^^^^Primer shot with a 49 dollar husky home depot gun.lol

The most fluctuating fan i have ever seen(aside from the typical superbowl champ dickrider) ....gumps up side vents really easy) Hood and drivers half of the roof were the last parts i shot....i was done adjusting, and running thinner through it at that point , and that was around the 3rd coat (getting sanded anyway.). Thats why its my primer gun...doesent really like super high build primer.

tomorrow going to sand entire car with 400 and shoot the top half black (with properly calibrated devilbiss gun .

Yeah, its weird i was thinking about replacing my grass with dirt......i have to cut the grass every 3 days or it bothers me.

Its funny how the dirt is always browner on the other side.

That's when you buy a $350 FB and start ripping up the FC. I'll have a tag for the FB soon, then the FC's gonna get some lovin'

This makes me want to start soonnn. I'll check up on it.

Edit- you couldn't take off the antenna? lol

The only thing I would do is re-badge the Mazda and RX-7 on the back but paint them white and then put on white S4 lights like on the 10AE, I think that would make it have to be the cleanest rear ever. Just my 2c's

Vary nice work, I would love to do something like this on mine.

probably should take off the antenna...lol i will.

Thanks for the compliment glass machine.

Dltreezan: Modded rear quarters to bolt on and off.... so they were off and primed.

Shot everything with primer... sanded with 400, shot the black 2 tone for the roof, a and b pillars black mirrors black and went and bought my green base, more reducer, activator and clear.

Turned the key to pull the car out of the garage after i taped the whole thing off, and no start.

Pulled egi fuse like it was flooded and no start still, just turning.

Feared the worst and pulled radiator cap..........bubbling like a motherfucking coffee pot. Lacks the compression to turn over.

Diagnosis is a blown coolant seal in my jspec (beat the **** out of it for 2 years) engine.

After debating putting a single cam honda engine in it and driving it off a cliff to punish it for ever....... even its afterlife (not that i believe in that ****) by dying honda powered,

I have decided to build a semi decent powered rotary engine.

I am using my original 6 port engine with high compression rotors and a pineapple racing template for an agressive streetport.

Then oem rebuild kit with new ******* waterjackets and swapping my blown 4 port front cover and turbo pereferals.

rtek 2.1 for tunability and probably a 60-1 coldside down the line.

Christmas break will post pictures of the teardown and rebuild.

Its been a fun 2 years with this car.....and i am not going to give up on my 13b.

Thanks, man.

It was made by a company out of brooklyn called erebuni in the mid to late 90's.

Company now out of business (for the most part).

Been discontinued for a while....

You can try contacting whats left @ http://www.erebunicorp.com/

I see it once every year or so in the for sale section on this site.

Good luck with your hunt..........

I just spent 20 minutes reading this to find out you let a simple rebuild slow you down. After all that body work the engine rebuild got you? COME ON!!

oh lol....

Temporaraly got me... Focusing on school and saving up for an Atkins rebuild.

I seriously have no money for this thing..... I just let a 600.00 pair of 18X10.5 -12 Work Emitz go on ebay... not happy about that. Figured i would put that money toward 1/3 of my history of ******* rome course.

Maybe i am getting older but my priorities are changing, and it just kind of happened out of nowhere.... taking 19 credits this upcoming semester, and am not neglecting my girlfriend over a car... What is happening to me?

Car will be together before you know it . Just have to graduate in May. Then the car will be back to the top, or at least tied for the top.

Thanks for spending the time to read my thread.

just think dude, when your finished with school and got the career cracking, you can build a super FC

im back in school too, so not really spending $$$ on the car.. but im planing for whats ahead of the FC, or even what car after my FC in a few years.. *nsx, porsche 911, ferrari 308 etc*

Thats what the plan is.

More money will be much better.. still gonna live with my grandparents though...lol

...and still gonna drive an 89 miata, but the fc might get sold (plus me putting money up) for an fd, e55, nsx, or "strosek (bootleg) updated" 70s or 80s hardtop 911 which i will build with either an archie v8 kit or turbo porsche engine.

hypertek, you pretty much have my exact taste in replacement cars.
