The miata dosent really look that bad the front bumper is a bit funky looking but aside from that it looks good.

^lol...yeah, they are not for everybody. Its just about matching what you have in your head, and taking the time to build it. Its all about putting your personal stamp on your own ****.

Usually the only **** talking i get are from one or two little nissan and honda kids who dont build and maintain anything. They usually drive beat up/ stock looking pieces of ****, and talk to overcompensate.


Lots of "rage" in that addition to my picture put together in not much time.........it is funny how most of the time was dedicated to drawing the dick.

I guess you guys get lots of practice in that area.

it's not about the *****. it's about preference. i just don't like the fd lights, for my taste, they are not well suited to FC body lines.

when you talk about n00bs - look at join date vs. post count. any retard can get triple digit counts. how many people do you see here with 7+ year statute? i've been a member here before either one of you probably knew what a full stroke cycle of a rotary was. and you probably still don't, unless you google it. it's not about that though. i just don't like the combination. it's matter of preference. i just happened to find that pic and it was a humorous way to express my opinion. oh no. my post count went up. see how easy it is?

Fine. I'm not a noob. I've been here forever, have a lot of posts, build all my own **** (and **** for others) and I still don't think those FD lights look good on that car.

You've certainly put a lot of work into the car, and while it may not be my style (hell, it IS your car after all), you seem to have done the best you could with what you have, so good work.

That said, I actually thought those lights were added with photoshop at first. They just clash with the style of the car. Perhaps if it was a darker color, they wouldn't be quite as ostentatious, but again, it's your car, and perhaps that was the goal?

No need to have a hissy because someone dislikes your car though. People dislike mine (hey, I'm a V8 guy, you get used to it). Don't much care though.

I do respect the work done. Mechanical and cosmetic. I didn't say it off the bat, but that's because I'm more of a hater than a celebrater. It was probably a bitch getting those light lined up ANY kind of fitting way, and you are proud of that. I get the effort. I'm just not a fan.

Agh, man, it's just sad - I've been looking at this board for 7 years, and only 1% of all posts is at all actually informative or helpful. your car definitely looks better than when you first chopped up the front bumper but those lights are too much. I think lights there are good, just not those ones. Maybe 4 round ones or two oval ones?

Well, i woke up monday morning and decided it was time to not be lazy anymore and paint my car.

Stripped body panels, prepped and primed them......

Today i hope to have primer on the car but the 3rd brake light/emblem shaving is taking a little longer than anticipated.

Goal was to have color on it this weekend.....we will see though. 44mmhead kit might come for my pocket bike which will be one hell of a distraction.

plan is to two tone ugly *** green or blue or maybe charcoal ? /black with line at start of lower a and b pillar above widebody in the rear.

Yeah.... i have no idea what color and i am painting it in less than 4 days.

good luck, i need to follow this route as well , been sittin on a gallon of primer and paint for a while, im just in a "i dont care about looks" state at this moment since i dont have the time or extra vehicle to drive while ripping my car apart.

^^^I was in that state for a while.......nothing wrong with it either. WHen its time for paint it will be painted.

Trust me though, it will happen.
