These are the only pictures up on the interweb that I could find at the moment, it was only last night... Hope to find more: http://urbanslide.com/gallery/?path=./RX7day

Daikoku Futo

R-magic out in full force, RE Amemiya out representing... damn... Clearly shows how young Ama-san still is.

I do believe that car mainly competes in speed trials so it was built to a purpose... nothing wrong with that.

even though im not a fan of the actuall widebody design on this car, i really admire the craftsmenship it took to complete it. I wish more people were into creating custom kits for themselves.

Why does US RX-7 meet suck? (7-7-09 rotary Japan meet)

Answer: because there are so many more in Japan. Additionally, (3rd gen specific) it was available for 10 years there.

All the crazy exterior mods are probably a result of the people seeing the same cars all the time.

thanks for posting the pics. Nice to see these cars still have strong support in their native land. Over here i feel like its rare/non-existent.

I would have got my @ss chewed if i posted with that thread title and called a fanboy.. lmao

im sure theres some better pics by someone else in here somewhere http://minkara.carview.co.jp/car/239/

Why does US RX-7 meet suck? (7-7-09 rotary Japan meet)

Honestly, if we had a meet like that, it would be broken down soo fast by cops. and not to mention the typical ricer honda crowds coming by to show off/rev.

Not enough modified/tuned RX7s in the states that are of Japanese tune influence, only say a handful of them, and alot of owners vary in taste/age, I doubt the older crowd will be very fond of this styling.

WHen i had a 240sx, 2002-2004 where the best years for car meets, most of the modifications where japanese influenced and everyone who modded would use real japanese parts, it was always motivating to go and look.. now everyone in 240s is like teenagers with fake parts cheap wheels kits etc.. I guess its just a maturity thing, but if your like me , you can appreciate the time people put into their cars. I have yet to go to a rx7 meet, just doesnt look too interesting imo. Not enough baller cars to go check out.
